holiday today!!! woo!!! spent the day at his place...:) got let off 10am... we studied... watched a movie... fell asleep... if only everyday could be like that... tmr its back to studying again:( went to jp after that with sara n her classmates cos i forgot to bring mykeys. howsilly. hehz.anyway. must blog abt fun o rama. the main reason for the past few days and todays holidays... yup. it was fun. got more than i expected. it didnt start out as well as i hoped. like my soup didnt turn out as well as i hoped it would but still tasted okay... arrived at sch at ard 630. yup. woke up DAMN early. went to the toilet. saw two guys entering the girls' to take a shower n were in the process of brushing their teeth after that. was funny.. that embarrassed look on their faces. they had no idea tt i already knew n that i dint really giv a sh*t. just for fun... i acted a little shocked just to make them paiseh. haha. anyway. so many ppl came after that. in the afternoon the customers started coming in... saw kenneth n matthew... my aunt n uncle(kens parents) grandaunt and 2 cousins... must say... they got loads of attention... so cute wad. expected... hehehe. same genes right.... :) its NOT easy handling 2 little kids in a crowded funfair though. my 5 year old little cousin accidentally shot some guy in the a**. there was a needle attached to that little bullet. haha. that was damn funny. but i felt kinda paiseh. :p met sarah peili sharon n gracia later in the day. then went ard with peili n sarah... sat at the bleachers... caught up on all the nonsense... was so nice just having girly chitchat for couple of hours under the shelter eating cream pasta. ran into hui en (frm music at acsi) and yuanjin(same music class at acsi... my best friend in pri sch n some of sec sch) was nice to see them again after ages. goodness knows when ill see them again:( oh well. we really shld get all the acsi music class ppl to meet up!! though kinda doubt that would happen. n it would be weird cos we havent met in ages. but then again i see most of them at sch... or at least hear frm them sumwher... my mummy and daddy came for fun o rama too. felt bad after those few hours with sarah n peili though cos though i contributed so much for the preparations i couldnt exactly say the same for that day itself. i was missing fer a couple of hours and my poor guy didnt seem to happy cos he was busy and exhausted. sorry to all those who were on the verge of collapsing under the pressure of the mercilessly hot sun n the long impatient queue outside our stall. really got carried away. hehz. its all over anyway. earned abt $1284.not bad lar... it was fun helping out the last couple of hours... our food went free at ard 5 smthg... the guys in our class were being retarded n started shouting "free soup... " n wadever nonsense that suddenly drew in a crowd. a diff. kind of crowd. the kind of thick skinned eager crowd. some surprised n politely insisted on giving coupons anyway. this girl came back for a 3rd serving of OUR SOUP!!! must really give credit to those helping out to chop stuff at jons place that day: daphne yvonne n moon n MOI. haha *claps* it turned out better than wad anyone expected. for some, the fun of fun-o-rama only started at 6pm when the supermarket had a huGE sale. yup. a crazy sale with more than 100% discount. bought shampoo luncheon meat canned soup biscuits tea n other stuff. thats when i saw the singaporean kiasu attitude start to appear in the ppl ard me. mad MAD rush for cheap stuff. some ppl just bought entire boxes of stuff. leaving no room for ppl like me to buy any CHUNKY soup. damn. well. cant blame them. ppl do go mad when theres a sale like that. me n yvonne RAN all the way to the hall upon hearing the good news. nv felt so exhilarated for such a long time. u know the feeling u get when u just came across a GOOOD bargain... man. so happy. though there are consequences of too much buying n freeloading. had to lug all those things to bugis then tampines. went out with the yvonne daphne n the twins. just realised that they like hanging out at bugis. as fer me its just a place with LOTs of memories:) some gd some bad. oh well. i am coming back for fun o rama next next year. now i know better. fun o rama starts at 6pm. YUP. ill remember that.
