oh yea. i havent blogged about my cny holidays yet right? hehe. Well. It was lovely as usual. The takings were fine, the titbits were good although i noticed an absence of sugee cookies in the houses I visited. CNY just isnt the same without those things. We had some additions this year though, my aunty brought her french bf back with her and well, though i would really love to practise my french, dont wanna risk embarrassing myself in front of someone i just got to know. Je ne parle bien français. =pWe had bingo this year. Uncle Perry brought back this set. Me n loser won some money from that:) Not much, but the feeling of winning and a tiny sum is enough to keep my spirits up. The maple craze was at an all-time high this year, with cousins queueing up and fighting over the use of 4 computers and lappies, one of which was my hapless little fujitsu. Hours of mapling ensued. You feel a sense of achievement seeing this little angpow drop from the beast that u've just slain cos its fairly rare. And then you go to the Cai Shen NPC and exchange it for a sum of $$. My maple bank account has hit 500K mesos! whee! OK im SUCH a freak. hahaha. But somehow MS brings people together. I started speaking to my younger cousins a lot more cos of maple, so dont start scoffing at this game yea... it does wonders sometimes!
Oh yea, and it feels great that everyone is finally in the house together:) Family members are really the most important people in your life, the ones that you want to celebrate the special occasions with... looking fwd to Sat, when theyre all gonnna come over! and maybe after that some of us can go clubbing together! fun!!!
